"Scanning the town, making sure I’d
captured it to perfection, I notice something move down by the bridge.
Under the bridge, tucked into it like some old toll keeper’s house from way
back, is a gentleman intent on putting around his work shed. I
quickly switched to my longest lens and zoomed in to just this detail of my
previous shot, eliminating dozen of houses, the bridge and most of the
river.
The eerie water, colored by the mineral and marble run-off from
higher up, blends in tone with the mosses, grasses and plants.
The old man adds a ‘center of interest’ and warms up the scene, just enough,
to boot." ms
