Sponsored by multi-sponsor Stan Webb of Wichita, Kansas " 'Burano', Venice Italy at sunset" Another little island that is part of the Venetian chain of islands is Burano, known as the ‘lace island’. That is because most of its womenfolk have handed down the trade to their offspring since before the days that Rome ruled. But as an artist the exciting thing was how bright and ‘clean’ the island was compared to its larger sibling- Venice. Although I love Venice for the exact way it does look, monochromatic and crumbly, it looked dingy after working Burano for a couple of days. This particular day I was blessed with finding so many great photos. Usually netting 1.5 images per day, and having already put ‘eight in the bag’, I thought no way could the good Lord bless me further. After thinking that way for 5 seconds I then prayed for another great composition. Oeoula, only seconds later I spied this wonderful ‘feeling’. Thank-U-Lord. It will be remembered as the end photograph of ‘miracle day’.
