"I gained a new, better way of evaluating the
composition of an image in terms of the impact on the viewer. Michael was able
to dramatically demonstrate the strengths and weaknesses of each image.
...The
value of Michael's suggestions and comments was tremendous...Michael was
sensitive and appropriate in his critiquing and his critiques were always directed
to produce a positive result".

A beautiful $10,500, 30"x40" Seewald original entitled Banfi Vineyards, Montalcino Tuscany, Italy
now hangs in Chris and Shelli Heller's new dining room in their Encinitas
home. Chris Heller is
quite well known in San Diego as a premier
real estate salesman and has
also sponsored some of Michael's images.
Photographed
and released; this 25.1-pound largemouth bass was caught, and then
released by
Mac Weakley at Lake Dixon,
in N. San Diego county
California. It would have been an 'official' world record had it not been 'snagged'
(which is illegal in California).
It is held here by Weakley's fishing partner Mike Winn.
AND it was 'almost'
caught by Michael Seewald less than one month later;
read that
incredible story here.

Santiago fires above Lake Mission Viejo.
October 2007 So. California fires.
We had a close call, both at our home in Del Mar and our
gallery in Encinitas, but the good Lord spared so much due to the Santa
Ana winds (40-45 mph winds with gusts up to 75-80) not roaring thru as
predicted on Tuesday. 0ver 600,000, at one point, were evacuated,
including us.
