Vineyard, Napa-Sonoma, 2003 

After trying my best the first week, and being sick to boot, I’d only landed one image and was starting to get worried.  As I have about a minimum of six sponsors to make art for so I have to produce many good images per week so they have plenty to choose from.  Sometimes, no matter how hard I try, it just doesn’t work.  Writers block?  Kinda.  But poor weather conditions are more to blame, because it was TOO DARN SUNNY AND CLEAR!  Day after day harsh light started within a half hour of sunrise, continuing to just about sunset.  In this case I found a great vineyard to shoot that was more interesting due to the oak trees and the early morning mist had yet to burn off.
