"Motorcycle man visits Venice Italy" It took me most of the month to find the place where I made one of my most famous images, "Butcher on Break", back in 1994. How could it be so hard to find a place that you know, approximately, where it is? Well, for one, there are over 400 bridges connecting 115 separate islands that crisscross more that 150 canals! And all of it was laid out by a drunk that could not draw a straight line to save his life. (Not really, it just seemed that way.) Anyway, it’s all part of the charm of Venezia, as it’s called in Italian. Not that I looked every minute of the day for the spot, but I had my ‘feelers out’ when I was working in the area. (Now I could find it quite easily, but if I wait too long to return I’d probably have to look around again.) This man seems to be having the same problem I had trying to find the place, no?
